In its 12th year, the IACP Community Policing Awards competition honors those departments worldwide that have prevented and decreased crime and terrorism by forging partnerships with their communities.
Entries must be submitted online by midnight ET, July 9, 2010.

Helpful Hints:
1. Please limit your entry to the questions as stated on the application. Incorporate your special documents or quotes into the text of your answers.
2. Answer the questions clearly.
Judging:
The IACP Community Policing Committee members judge the CPA Award. The judges review the award entries and then select fifteen to twenty applications for final judging. A separate group of Community Policing members then review the applications and select the winners and finalists. The final judging takes place in August and the Winners are notified prior to the IACP Conference in the fall.
When Applying for the CPA:
1. Be sure that your entry meets the required criteria and strictly follows application guidelines.
2. Retain your application identification number for future reference.
