IACP Community Policing Committee Mid-Year Meeting

Hello All:  The Committee is currently holding their Mid-Year Meeting in Grapevine, TX as I type.  Attended by about 20 members and staff, the discussions were lively yesterday discussing the new website and the 2010 Awards process, and especially in the development of the workshop proposal for the 2010 Conference in Orlando.  Such a great diversity of opinions on the committee and discussing issues addressing community safety and how to achieve this were very interesting.  They will continue today as we discuss the issues of Broken Windows and Terrorism!  More posts to come.
